“In my humble opinion, that process should have been done before the permits were issued,” he said. “It should have given the big stakeholders more of a role.”

“The area will be clearly identified by the landscape area, fence and retaining wall between the causeway and reservation. The landscape areas, parking, benches, bike racks and all other non-vehicular improvements will identify the reservation area as a recreational spot for the general public,” added Roberto.

If the commission approves the expansion, the project would still need Town Meeting approval, as well as Select Board approval, for the leasing of town-owned land on the beach.

“The jute sector being so small and concentrated, and this not being a very global industry, the research and development on technology has been very limited,” said Raghavendra Gupta, chief executive of the Hooghly Group, which owns Hukumchand and several other mills.

Rolling tables are fixed tables with roll bars added. The supports are stationary, but tables roll side to side. Because tops roll to create aisles, just one aisle allowance – a standard of 16 inches to 18 inches – is needed per bay. The flexible design doesn’t mean a large jump in price, though. “The cost difference between stationary and rolling is minimal,” Ilovitz says.

Initially, the team had outsourced its soil-less grow mix but found that the crop yield wasn’t satisfactory. They began doing it themselves to ensure quality control and help came from Sai Krishna’s farm. The plants began to grow faster.

Ayers: So obviously exotic would describe a rare flavor profile. Are there specific types of flavors that are super hot right now in cannabis?

Additional seawall demolition and reconstruction activities were conducted to support upland remediation activities. To facilitate dredging, the northern and southern hauling piers associated with the active marine railway and the decking of the Maritime Gloucester main pier were removed.  Prior to dredging in the Nearshore Area, debris including lines, cables, piles, and portions of an abandoned marine railway was removed and transported offsite for disposal.
